Two words to describe it " spectacular & impressive ". You people should grab this chance. The weather was freaking hot. It was scorching hot! The ladies brought back with them together a rosy cheeks on their face. so hilarious! This was my first time that i got to witness a fighter jet not one but 4 taking off and taxiing in front of me like 10m away. We were allowed to stand on the side of the runway. So when the engine started, the atmosphere was filled with excitement. Tell me people. You would normally get to see the aircraft airborned or disappear into the thin air. But today is a extravagant event. You got to see them taxi, full throttle, take off and land. The ground was vibrating when they full throttled their engines. I love the sound and sight of it. It really deepens my interest to be a pilot. While watching the aerial display, they re-enact about an incident on early or 1st quarter of the year when an Australian guy flew illegally into Singapore airspace and was brought to halt by 2 fighter jets of the RSAF. This shows that they are 24/7 operationally ready to fight back anything. They made it looked so real and i will never forget the sight and sound of it. It just captivates me a lot.
After the show, we went to one of the hangars that store fighter jets and took a picture of it (below) Me in pilot suit. at the f-16 aircraft. It looked so real man! See yi, gena and randolph also had this shot taken. I know it may sounds crazy but a pilot wannabe like me and randolph would go all out to do crazy things. Even if we have to impersonate a pilot. just like below. ha ha. It would be a dream come true for me =D. Provided i work hard. I know talk is cheap. Don't have to tell me that.
Up next, we went for lunch as we used up a lot of energy walking and standing around. Therefore we had to replenish our stock. Headed down to PS and had burger king. Not full i tell you! Walked around afterwards and we separated. The guys went suntec for the COMEX it show whereas the girls headed back home. The 3 men were whining throughout their journey to suntec and in the compound. One reason was we had stood for the whole day. That's why. After going rounds of it, we went home. Along the way, we saw mr prakasah and mr fauroni. What a small world.
